Joanna started her career in Financial Services with the Prudential almost 30 years ago and held a number of senior roles in sales and marketing driving major organisational change programmes. In 1996 she joined Henderson Global Investors as Director of Strategy & Business Development with accountability for new products & markets. Following Henderson's acquisition by AMP she was asked to lead all aspects of e-business development culminating in the launch of Ample and its subsequent acquisition of iii with the combined business winning the 2002/3 award for the best financial services website. Her final role at AMP was as Director of European Business Development. She then joined Barclays UK Banking as MD for Debt & Deposits leading multi-disciplinary teams managing the full choice of lending, savings and liquidity products across UK Banking. After a period at Fidelity she moved into consulting with a number of major UK Financial Services companies with more recent work specialising in directing M&A programmes. Her most recent role saw her work for two years as Interim Chief Operating Officer for Just Group plc.

Alan began his automotive career with Ford Credit with roles in UK sales and marketing in before managing a major organisational change programme & then moving on to establish pan-European leasing capabilities. In '92 he joined Volvo Car UK to head up a new function managing sales to the UK's largest 50 leasing companies. In '97 he was asked to create and lead Volvo Car Corporation's global fleet division, growing this to a $50m operation. After a period consulting for several European OEMs and International Fleet Operators he was headhunted by Al Futtaim in Dubai to modernise their Fleet Sales Operations in their flagship Toyota brand. Over a six year period he overhauled that operation and doubled fleet sales whilst expanding his responsibilities to include all distributor sales, marketing and product management and being a key player in the small team who grew the business to an $800m profit operation. Alongside successful numbers he recorded one of the highest ever employee engagement scores. Since leaving Dubai he's been developing his photography business, a holiday rental property portfolio and consulted on B2B sales projects and various automotive sales and distribution projects.
